- I Wash my hair with a common cheap but moisturizing shampoo and use a (really) huge amount of conditioner. Then I leave it on for about 2 minutes and wash it of carefully.
- After leaving it some minutes in the towel, I brush gently through my wet hair.
- I take a lot of hair oil in my hands and rub it in my fingers so it warms up a little bit before I work it gently in my lengths.
- Now it's time for the actual styling! I use only ONE product, because I do no want to put to much weight on my hair. I like it big and curly so I take a mousse, a gel or sometimes a styling spray, throw my hair over my head and scrunch the product carefully in my hair. This takes some time but afterwards it is totally worth it.
- I let it air dry for half an hour and then put it up in a ponytail (this method gives me etra volume). After an hour it is usually dry, so that I go to bed and sleep.
- The next day I take my hair out of the ponytail and detangle it with my fingers. Than I take a coconut styling wax and scrunch this also in my hair for more last minute definition.

And that's it!
How is your curly hair routine? Which products would you recommend?
Sounds really simple and the routine is kind of the same what I do... Nevertheless, thank you for this quick routine. It's really cool to read a routine from someone who actually has curly hair like me.
AntwortenLöschenMy only problem is that I can't take that much hair oil because my hair then starts to become greasy really really fast and I don't like that at all, so I rather put a little less oil into it... But it still works for me. And I really don't understand how you can put your hair into a ponytail... I get a really ugly wave from the elastic in my hair and that just looks terrible. :D I like to braid my hair into one long piece in the back when the hair is dry. I don't know why but my hair goes out of shape very easily so that's why I braid it before I go to bed. The curls are still very defined and don't start on the top but on the height of the ear, which I prefer on me. :D
But again: Thank you for your routine! :) ♥
Nicoooole :)
LöschenHaha, that's a thing that I get asked the whole time but ponytails never destroy my hair structure. I can't help why, it's just as that. :D But a braid is a thing I like to do, too. Did it last night after reading your comment and I am pretty content with how it looks today.
You're welcome :-* <3
